Exercising in nature in the fresh air not only strengthens the immune system, but also helps the calories to tumble. Hiking mobilizes the body in a way that is easy on the joints, builds up muscles and increases our stamina! Forest bathing, experiencing nature and its sounds with all your senses - it's balm for the soul.

Hiking program*

Sunday - Welcome
Hiking guide Sonja and the Dr. Maus family invite you to the hotel bar on Sunday at 6 pm for a glass of sparkling wine to get you in the mood for a wonderful week of hiking.
* There may be slight changes to the tour due to weather conditions or guest requests. Sonja will be available to answer your questions and explain the hiking program.

Monday - Dahner Rundwanderweg
The route leads past the cemetery of honor to St. Michael's Chapel. Behind the Bug Altdahn, a path leads across the Wiesental valley up to the Römerfelsen rock. Over the Lachberg you head towards Jungfernsprung (the 70 m high landmark of the town of Dahn) and then back to the hotel. Approx. 12km, approx. 3-4 hours walking time.

Tuesday - Neudahn Castle
We walk towards Kauert and after a short time reach the ruins of Neudahn Castle. The path leads down through the rock gate into the Moosbach valley. We return to the hotel along the nature reserve. Approx. 12 km, 3-4 hours walking time.

Wednesday - Kaisertour
The trail leads across the Wieslautertal valley towards Bruchweiler-Bärenbach. From there we walk up to Napoleonsfelsen via Büttelfels back to the hotel. Approx. 12 km, 3-4 hours walking time.

Thursday - Eybergturm
From the hotel we walk to the Lämmerfelsen (the rock you can admire from the restaurant terrace). Via the small Eyberg, we head up to the "Wasgaublick" viewpoint, continuing up to the 513 m high Großer Eyberg, the dominant peak of the Dahner Felsenland. If that's high enough for you, you can take a short break at the refuge right next to the tower. The more adventurous also have the opportunity to climb the 18-metre-high Eyberg tower, from where you can admire a fantastic view over the Palatinate Forest in good weather. We then walk back to the hotel together via the Fischbacherpfad. Approx. 12 km, 3-4 hours walking time.

Friday - Altdahn Castle
We walk from the spa gardens to the Hochstein viewpoint. The path leads along the rocks towards the Altdahn-Grafendahn-Tanstein castle massif. Here we continue to the beautiful castle view before returning to the hotel via the south side of the Hochstein massif. Approx. 7 km, 2-3 hours walking time.

Meeting point for all hikes from Mon-Fri at 10:00 am in the hotel lobby.
