You haven’t brought your own bike on holiday with you, but you’d still like to enjoy a bike tour? FBA Cycling in Bundenthal has the perfect rental bicycle for you.

Your bike is well taken care of: our secure bicycle garage at car park P2 (above the hotel building) offers a convenient, dry place to park your bike.

Cancellation rules
Bookings for a single room may be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before the booked arrival date. Please note that for reservations spanning New Year’s Eve or for group bookings, longer deadlines apply; we will confirm these in writing on a case-by-case basis. For late cancellations or amendments (after the agreed deadline), up to 70% of the total stay price may be charged as a cancellation fee. Of course, the guest is entitled to provide proof of lesser damages. We also offer an additional way to limit your cancellation risk: If you pay a deposit of 25% of the agreed stay price no later than 10 days after booking, we won’t charge any further cost in the event of late cancellation (the decisive dates are the booking confirmation date and the date we receive your payment). For early-booking offers, the deposit is mandatory. Should you cancel or change your booking within the penalty-free period, your deposit won’t be forfeited.

Gesture of goodwill for reservations with a deposit
If you have paid your 25% deposit in good time – voluntarily or as required – we grant you the option of postponing your reservation once to a new date as a special gesture of goodwill in the event of cancellation at short notice (after the cancellation period has expired). Your deposit remains valid and we charge only a €20.00 rebooking fee. You then have one week from cancellation to confirm your new dates.

Travel cancellation insurance
To avoid unnecessary risks, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
 

Check-in
Your room will be available from 3.00 pm. You are welcome to join us for lunch on the day of arrival.

If you would like to arrive earlier, please let us know - we will be happy to check whether an early arrival is possible.

We charge €35 per person for an early arrival without a room. You can then use the spa areas from 10.00 am. (without breakfast)

Check-out
On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11.30 a.m. Would you like to stay a little longer? No problem! We are happy to offer you the option of a late departure - according to your wishes:

Late departure without room: € 35.00 per person - you can use our wellness areas until 6 p.m. on the day of departure.

Late departure with room: € 55.00 per person - your room is at your disposal until 6.00 pm.

Please note that late departures are only possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability.

Our modern "IdeenReich" conference room is available for conferences, workshops and seminars for up to approx. 20 people. The room offers daylight, air conditioning, an impressive view of the cliffs and modern technical equipment (WLAN, projector, flipchart, moderator's case).

You will be spoiled with culinary delights from our in-house kitchen - with pleasure as part of individually tailored conference packages.

For a varied supporting program, we organize activities such as hikes, bike tours to Alsace, wine tastings in the house, Segway tours and much more on request.

For bookings with an "early booking discount", a deposit of 25% is required within 10 days of booking. The deposit is not forfeited if you cancel or postpone your booking before the cancellation deadline. In this case, you have the choice of whether you want to "leave" your deposit for the future or whether you would like to have your money transferred back.

A deposit for short-term bookings without an early booking discount is not obligatory, but has the advantages of the goodwill rule in the event of cancellation at short notice (after the deadline).

Here once again are the cancellation conditions with the goodwill rule:

Bookings for a single room can generally be canceled free of charge up to the 7th day before the booked arrival date . Please note that longer deadlines apply for bookings over the turn of the year and for groups, which we will confirm to you in writing in individual cases. Cancellations or changes to bookings made at short notice (after the agreed cancellation date) may incur a cancellation fee of up to 70% of the price of the stay. Of course, the guest is at liberty to provide evidence of lesser damages. We offer our guests a further option for limiting the cancellation risk: If you pay a deposit of 25% of the agreed price of your stay no later than 10 days after making your reservation, we will not charge you any costs beyond this in the event of a last-minute cancellation (the date of the reservation confirmation and the date on which payment is received in our account are decisive). For bookings with "early booking advantage" the deposit is obligatory. Your deposit will not be forfeited if you cancel or postpone your booking prior to the cancellation deadline.

Goodwill rule for reservations with a deposit: If you have voluntarily or compulsorily paid your deposit of 25% by the deadline, we will grant you the option of postponing your reservation once to a new date as a special gesture of goodwill in the event of a last-minute cancellation (after the cancellation period has expired). In this case, your deposit will not be forfeited. We only charge a rebooking fee of € 20.00. You have one week after the cancellation to make a binding reservation for the new date.

Dogs are very welcome in our rooms. However, please note that dogs aren’t allowed in the restaurant and wellness area. Advance notification is required so we can prepare for you and your pet. We provide a dog bed and water and food bowls in your room.

We charge €25.00 per dog and night (excluding food). Starting in 2026, the price will be €26.00 per night.

Leashes are compulsory in the entire hotel area and in the Palatinate Forest. The signposted hiking trails just outside the hotel grounds are ideal for walking your dog.

Other pets are unfortunately not allowed in the hotel.

Book your stay at least 90 days before your planned arrival and benefit from a discount of €10.00 per person per night. A deposit of 25% of the total price is required to secure the booking. This deposit won’t be retained if you cancel or postpone your booking before the cancellation period expires.

We’re delighted to welcome families and offer them rooms and suites specially tailored to their needs. Our family suites with separate children’s room or the family spa suite with whirlpool and private sauna are perfect for relaxing with the whole family.

Our spacious garden paradise guarantees fun: Children can swing, slide, play table tennis, or bounce on the trampoline – boredom is simply not an option!

Our hotel is located in the middle of the Palatinate Forest, where a network of over 1,000 kilometers of hiking trails is at your disposal.

The very popular Dahner Felsenpfad and the Dahner Rundwanderweg start directly from the hotel. The first viewpoint "Wachtfels" is just a 10-minute walk away. The Dahner Felsenland is certified as a premium hiking region. The trails are very well signposted and can usually be walked in shorter sections. You can reach the Dahner Pfälzerwaldhütte on the shortest route in just 2 km on foot. Ask for our hiking flyers at the hotel reception or have a look at the Dahner Tourist Information website.

In our weekly changing vacation program you have the opportunity to take part in a guided hike from the hotel. Please register for this.

For big hiking fans, we offer our own hiking weeks several times a year with daily guided hikes. We also offer fasting hiking weeks several times a year.

If you would like a separate hike for a closed group, this can be booked for an extra charge by prior arrangement.

Pfalzblick Wald Spa Resort is situated in a quiet and natural location on the edge of the health resort town of Dahn, in the centre of the romantic Wasgau region – one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Palatinate. We have a locked luggage room right next to reception. You can safely store your luggage there before check-in and after check-out.

Tourist tax in the town of Dahn
The town of Dahn charges a tourist tax of €1.50 per person/day.

Change in VAT
Adjustment for additional or reduced VAT in the event of a change in the tax rate is excluded.

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited throughout the building, on the panorama house balcony, in the sauna on the sauna island, and on the sun terrace of the saunas (ground-floor terrace of the sauna island). 
During breakfast and dinner service, smoking is also not permitted on the restaurant’s panoramic terrace. 
Please note that the consumption of cannabis anywhere on the premises is expressly forbidden. We thank you for your understanding and your consideration of other guests and our team.

We do not offer day spas, as we believe that the many possibilities in our hotel, from our saunas and pools to our wellness and culinary offerings, are best experienced as part of a stay. We would therefore like to draw your attention to our last-minute offers for overnight stays, where you can not only make extensive use of our wellness areas, but also enjoy our comfortable rooms and excellent cuisine.

Our sauna infusions usually take place daily in the panorama sauna on our sauna island.

Our fitness center on the 3rd floor is open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm and offers 13 endurance and strength machines for your individual training.

The yoga room on the 5th floor offers regular classes such as yoga, abdominal-leg-buttocks, spinal gymnastics and Zumba. Water gymnastics is also offered in the swimming pool on the 5th floor. The current course times can be found in our weekly changing vacation program.

These courses are included in the room price. You can register for them from the comfort of your own home or on site at the hotel reception. Please let us know the desired course, date and number of participants.

You will find wellness bags in your room on arrival. These contain a sauna towel and a bath towel for the wellness area as well as towelling bath slippers.

If you have booked an early arrival, you will receive the wellness bag directly at reception - the same applies to late arrivals.

The wellness area is available to all hotel guests from check-in and can be used until check-out. Entry to our spa worlds is free of charge for all guests.

For guests who wish to depart late, it’s possible to use the wellness area until 6 p.m. on the day of departure (room check-out by 11.30 a.m.). This additional use must be arranged in advance and will be charged separately.

Our hotel offers a variety of included yoga, fitness and relaxation courses all year round in our weekly changing vacation program.

If you would like to delve deeper into yoga, you have the opportunity to book our in-house yoga weeks several times a year and get to know different yoga styles. Participation in the yoga courses is included in the room price when booking the yoga week.

You also have the opportunity to book a yoga retreat with external trainers at the Pfalzblick on various weekends throughout the year. Please note that these retreats are subject to a separate yoga fee payable to the teacher.

We naturally take special diets (vegan, vegetarian, etc.), diet plans, intolerances and allergies into consideration. Please let us know your individual requirements so that we can pass them on to our chef and take them into account accordingly.

Wine cellar: over 200 different wines - regional from the Palatinate and Alsace as well as international wines
Vinothek: Wine tastings in our vinothek and wine sales at farm-gate prices. The wine shop is located on the 5th floor of the main building and is open daily from 10.30 am to 11.30 am and on Thursdays from 5.30 pm to 6.00 pm.
Hotel bar: The hotel bar is located on level 6 directly at the entrance to the restaurant. Our hotel bar is open daily until midnight. When the weather is fine, we also serve on the restaurant terrace on the 6th floor.

Our weekly wine tasting takes place every Thursday at 4:30 pm (subject to change according to the weekly program).

This wine tasting is included in the room rate for all hotel guests. Registration is not necessary.

Please arrive at the restaurant a few minutes before the start.
