Red sandstone, slate, shell limestone: The soils of our region give the wine its distinctive character. Combined with traditional barrel ageing, they develop aromas full of depth and finesse – perfect for discerning connoisseurs. Whether it’s Pinot Blanc from Mandelberg, Riesling from Pechstein, Pinot Noir from Kastanienbusch, or the great Pinot Noirs from Kammerberg and Sankt Paul in Schweigen: Each bottle tells its own story.

Our winegrowers

Close, friendly partnerships

We maintain personal relationships with some of the best wine producers in the region. A small selection:

Friedrich Becker winery, Schweigen

According to the Gault&Millau Wine Guide, this winery has been producing some of the best German red wines for over 20 years. Connoisseurs say: world-class wines. The wines are of course on our menu.

Bernhart winery, Schweigen

Number two in Schweigen, close to the border with Alsace. Excellent value for money.

Dr Wehrheim winery, Birkweiler

One of the best producers on the Southern Wine Route for a long time. We’re particularly fond of the Pinot Blanc from Mandelberg.

Peter Siener Winery, Birkweiler

Peter Siener’s Rieslings improve from year to year. But his Pinot Noir from the Chestnut Bush vineyard (Kastanienbusch) is also a special treat.

Further collaborations with winegrowers from the region

You and your palate will also benefit from our collaboration with the following winegrowers in our wine bar in the Palatinate:

The Pinot Blancs from Gunter Kessler are particularly expressive.
