Construction Update: Even more comfort coming soon
Work on our new "Sonnenhang 2" construction phase is scheduled to begin in calender week 41. It will take place on the outer western edge of our property, on a previously unused area next to the existing "Sonnenhang" building section. This project fulfills the wish of many guests for additional high-quality rooms and suites featuring state-of-the-art amenities.
To help our many loyal regular guests visualize the layout: an additional stairwell will be built next to rooms 435, 535, 632, 732, and 832 in the "Sonnenhang 1" section; the "Sonnenhang 2" extension will adjoin this area. Additionally, next spring, we will install an extra elevator alongside the existing one in the "Sonnenhang" building.
For those not yet familiar with our expansive resort: viewed from the valley side, the Garden Wing is located on the far right. The Main Building—which houses the dining areas and the indoor wellness and vitality center—is in the center. The natural pond and sauna island are situated in front of the Main Building. To the left of the Main Building lies the existing "Sonnenhang 1" section (featuring the Drachenfels, Lämmerfels, and Traubennestl room types). The new "Sonnenhang 2" will extend the building complex further to the west on the far left.
Construction work is confined to this specific area of our extensive hotel grounds. This ensures you can continue to enjoy a relaxing holiday at the Pfalzblick, just as always. All familiar amenities and areas for relaxation remain fully available to you.
As construction work can occasionally involve noise, we wish to inform you of this project well in advance and with full transparency. At the same time, you can look forward to everything that defines a stay with us: our outdoor sauna island, the indoor wellness area, the year-round heated outdoor infinity pool with its panoramic pavilion, our dining options, and plenty of lovely spots to relax—all of which remain available to you as usual.
