Rock formations
The unique rock formations of the Dahn Rockland have been shaped by wind and weather over millions of years. Today, they’re considered landmarks of the region – impressive, photogenic, and full of stories.
- Lämmerfelsen – directly visible from the hotel and can be reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes. Especially beautiful from the restaurant or the panoramic terrace.
- Teufelstisch – only 6km away. The most famous rock formation in the Palatinate is said to have once served as the devil’s dining table (“Teufelstisch” in German).
- Jungfernsprung – the 70-metre-high rock in the middle of Dahn tells a dramatic legend and is now a popular vantage point.
- Braut & Bräutigam (bride and groom), Schillerfelsen, and Wachtfelsen – mystical and beautiful formations, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
- Climbing paradise – with 52 climbing walls, Dahn is one of the most popular climbing regions in Germany.
